Minutes of the AGM held on Saturday the 8th October 2011 in the Sandymount Hotel, Landsdowne Road Dublin.

Minutes AGM 2010
The minutes of the last AGM on 17th March 2010 were read, agreed and signed.
Presidents Report
The President, the Rev. Brian Kennaway reflected on the past events since the last AGM in which he pointed out the success of the Dublin
Lunches organised by our Treasurer, Dr. Donal O'Tierney, as well as noting the death of two faithful members, Terry Stewart, President 2000-2002,
and Dr. Garret FitzgGrald.
Hon. Treasures Report
Dr. Donal O'Tierney presented the accounts as at March 2010. A number of questions were asked in relation to these accounts. It was proposed
by Daltun O'Ceallaigh and seconded by Edward Keown that the accounts be received. Agreed.
Dr. Donal O'Tierney presented the accounts as at March 2011. A number of questions were asked in relation to these accounts. It was proposed Mary Humphries and seconded by Susan Hedigan that the accounts be received. Agreed.
Election of Council Members
The Rev. Brian Kennaway explained that there were, according to the Constitution, 15 Council Members - a minimum of 5 from either the Northern
or Southern constituency. Roy John indicated that he did not wish to remain on the Council but offered his support.
A number of new members were proposed for the Council:
Daltun O'Ceallaigh - Proposed by Roy Johnston Seconded by Donal O'Tierney
Dermot O'Doherty - Proposed by Roy Johnston and Seconded by Donal O'Tierney
Mary Humphries - Proposed by Charles Lysaght Seconded by Susan Hedigan
Bob Collins - Proposed by Eddie Keown Seconded by Roy Johnston
The President then read out the complete list of those proposed, as follows:

ANY OTHER BUSINESS:
Roy Johnston asked that there be a specific Report on the Web Site at our Annual General Meetings by the Editor.
There being no further Business the President thanked Dr. O'Tierney for all the work he did for the Association, and declared the AGM closed.
